Course Description: This course is designed to provide civil engineers with a comprehensive understanding of the building planning & designing process. Through interactive lectures, case studies, and hands-on exercises, students will learn the fundamental principles and practices of building planning, site analysis, building design, architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical designs. The course will cover topics such as zoning regulations, environmental considerations, the functional and practical needs of clients, building materials, construction techniques, and building codes and regulations.
