Course Description: This course is designed for individuals who have little Co to no experience with computers and want to learn the basics of computer 1 technology, including hardware, software, and operating systems. The co course will cover topics such as computer components, peripherals, input 2 and output devices, file management, internet and email, word processing ho and spreadsheets, multimedia, computer hardware, cybersecurity, basic 3. programming concepts, and emerging technologies. By the end of the em course, students will have a strong foundation in computer technology and De will be able to use computers for personal and professional purposes.

Prerequisites

  1. Understand English.
  2. Basic computer knowledge. 4. Good internet connection
  3. Computer with min: 4gb RAM

Course Goals:

  1. Develop a basic understanding of computer The components and peripherals
  2. Understand the functions of computer hardware and ing how to troubleshoot basic hardware issues
  3. Understand basic internet concepts and be able to use the email and web browsers
    and Develop proficiency in using word processing, spreadsheet software & powerpoint
  4. Understand basic multimedia concepts and be able to work with images, videos, and audio
  5. Understand basic cybersecurity concepts and be able to protect against common online threats
  6. Develop an understanding of basic programming concepts and be able to write simple programs
  7. Explore emerging technologies and understand their impact on society and the workplace
